Obituary for Phyllis Palmer

It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Blanche (Coughlin) Palmer announce her passing on October 9th, 2018. Born on July 20, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Ada and Channing Coughlin.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 51 years Russell, two children; Stephen (Jennifer) and Cheryl (John), five grandchildren; Stephen, Ashley, Samantha, Benjamin and Melissa and one great-grandson Hunter. She is also survived by her brother Ivan (Betty), sister-in-law Norma Ford, brothers-in-law Sydney (Shelia) Palmer and David Palmer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister Betty Klim.

Our family would like to thank the nursing staff and Doctors of 4CN for their support and caring of our loved one.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3. (506)634–1701. As per Phyllis’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Legion Branch 69 on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2:00PM.

In lieu of flowers donations in Phyllis’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice, Ridgewood Veterans Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com.
