Obituary for Gilles Fontaine

1960 - 2018
St–Antoine, NB – Gilles Fontaine, 58, passed away suddenly at Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Born in Rexton, NB, he was the son of Marcel Fontaine and the late Stella (nee Robichaud) Fontaine.

Besides his father, Gilles will be sadly missed by his wife, Norma (nee Goguen); his stepchildren, Claude Arsenault (Marcia Fougère) of Shediac Bridge and Charline Arsenault (Danny Arsenault) of Moncton; his two brothers, Ronald (Shirley) of Shediac and Bernard (Shirley F.) of Grand–Barachois; his four sisters, Diane Robichaud (Steeve) of Ontario, Yvette Maillet (Denis) of Richibouctou–Village, Bernadette Daigle (Jean) of St–Louis and Lyne Robichaud (Zacharie) of Moncton; his five step grandchildren, Bradley, Britney, Edward, Christelle and Marco; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by two baby brothers, Joseph and Adrien.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm and also from 6 pm until time of funeral service at Passage Funeral Chapel at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at:
