Obituary for Robert Silliker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rob Silliker of Riverview. Rob passed away at home on October 9, 2018 following a long illness. Rob was born on June 9, 1970, in Saint John, New Brunswick to parents Marion Silliker and the late Roger Meunier.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his partner, Elissa Milburn of Riverview and by his children Kevin Collette of Moncton and Jacob Silliker at home.

He is also survived by brothers Jody of Riverview and Daniel of Moncton. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves to mourn his loving Aunt Betty Ann Silliker of Port Elgin and Uncle Robert "Bobo" Silliker of Cap Pele.

Rob was employed for many years as a cab driver, and most recently as a Dispatcher with Air Cab of Moncton. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his boys, and also enjoyed reading mystery novels. Rob loved playing cards with his wide circle of friends who will surely miss him at the table.

A Service to celebrate and honour Rob’s life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:30 am from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) with Rev. Jim Eagles officiating. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

In memory of Rob donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online condolences may be shared at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
