Obituary for Raymond Carroll

1933 – 2018
C’est avec grande tristesse que nous avisons le décès de Raymond C. Carroll, le 2 novembre 2018, à l’âge de 85 ans.

Outre son épouse depuis 1954, Madame Osanne Boucher–Carroll, il laisse dans le deuil ses cinq garçons, John, Daniel, Kenneth, Bernard et Pierre, ses onze petits enfants, ses dix arrière–petits enfants son frère Gérald, ses soeurs Rosanne et Linda, ainsi que plusieurs neveux/nièces, parents et amis.

La famille recevra les condoléances samedi le 17 novembre 2018, de 13h30 heures à 16h30 au complexe funéraire Yves Légaré situé au 2750, boul. Marie–Victorin à Longueuil. Une réunion de prières aura lieu ce même jour à 15h30.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel de la résidence La Rosière de Ste–Julie et du CHLSD de Lajemmerais à Varennes pour leur soutien et les bons soins prodigués.

Au lieu de fleurs, un don à la Fondation de la société d’Alzheimer serait apprécié en la mémoire de Ray.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond C. Carroll, on November 2nd, 2018 at the age of 85.

Beloved husband for 64 years of Osanne Boucher–Carroll, cherished father of John, Daniel, Kenneth, Bernard and Pierre, devoted grandfather to his eleven grandchildren and ten great–grandchildren. He will also be deeply missed by his brother Gerald, his sisters Rosanne and Linda, as well as many relatives and friends.

You are invited to join family and friends in a celebration of his life at the Yves Legaré Funeral Home at 2750, boul. Marie–Victorin in Longueuil on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. A prayer will be said at 3:30pm.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at the La Roseraie home in Ste–Julie, as well as the CHSLD de Lajemmerais in Varennes for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer society would be appreciated in Ray’s memory.
