Obituary for Harold Love

Harold S. Love of Mactaquac, NB passed away November 11, 2018 at the Veterans Health Unit, Fredericton, NB. Harold was born at Millville, NB in 1930, a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Sproull) Love.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Millville Branch 59, Royal Canadian Legion. Following his return from Korea Harold began his farming career and also established a butcher business. He was a regular vendor at the W W Boyce Farmers Market in Fredericton for many, many years.

Harold is survived by a son, James Love (Sherri Boucher), Mactaquac, NB; a daughter, Linda Dunch (Allan), Bermuda; a special chosen grandson, Troy Ford, Upper Queensbury, NB; a sister–in–law, Jenny Schofield, Miramichi, NB and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Anna M. Love on September 12, 2018, an infant son, Peter, a sister, Alma Gilmore (late Mike), a brother, Eldred Love (late Marion) and a sister–in–law, Glenna Taylor (late Arnold).

In keeping with Harold’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at a place and date to be announced later. Arrangements by Flewelling Funeral Home, Nackawic, NB www.flewellingswan.com
