Obituary for Harvey Cormier

Harvey Cormier, 82, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born July 7, 1936 in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Edouard and Delia (LeBlanc) Cormier.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen née Richard; four children: Deborah “Debbie” Melanson (Mike), Joanne LeBlanc (Claude), Heather Bourgeois (Marc) and Kenneth “Kenny” (Joy), all of Dieppe; 10 grandchildren: Chris, Jason, Suzanne, Diane, Laura, Kristina, Kelsey, Stephanie, Matthew, and Kevin; 10 great–grandchildren: Erica, Zachary, Alec, Skylar, Shalan, Emma, Shannon, Logan, Lilly, and Ethan; three sisters: Rina Bourque (Roméo) of Memramcook, Odila Vona (late Dante) of Bouctouche, and Patricia “Patsy” Roach (late Ernest) of Dieppe; one brother, Irenée (Irene) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his first wife, Marie née Cluney; and one sister, Maria.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 28 at 11 am. A reception at the centre will follow. Visiting hours Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until time of funeral.
