Obituary for Edna Johnston

It is with great sadness the family of Edna Johnston announce her passing on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Born in Geary, NB, on January 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Spurden and Hilda (Howe) Carr.

Edna will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Eldon Johnston; her children, Janice (Danny) Ouellette and Doug (Denise) Johnston; her grandchildren, Danielle (Bobby) Thompson, Alanna Johnston (Ricky Fulton) and Emma Ouellette; and her great–granddaughter, Cara Fulton; and her brother, Edward Carr of Geary, NB.

In addition to her parents, Edna was predeceased by her sisters, Stella Harris and Velma Reid.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424). At Edna’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a family interment will be held at a later date.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
