Obituary for Michael Archibald

July 31, 1959 – December 4, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Michael Adam Archibald, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Michael passed away suddenly at his parents’ home in Cookville, with his mother by his side.Born in Sackville, N.B. on July 31, 1959, he was the son of George and Gail (McCarthy) Archibald.

Michael was an avid hunter, fisherman and his passion was spending time in the woods. He enjoyed machinery and driving his truck.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his Mum and Dad, Gail (McCarthy) and George Archibald; his brothers, Chris Archibald and Joey (Jacqueline) Archibald; his sister, Kathy (Bob) Steele; his special nephew, Nicholas (Keltie) Elliott, as well as by several nephews, nieces and extended family, all of whom he loved very much.

He was predeceased by his sister, Connie; his maternal grandparents, James and Connie (Roberts) McCarthy, as well as by his paternal grandparents, Adam and Lillian (Tapsell) Archibald.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville N.B. (506) 364–8188. In keeping with Michael’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The burial will take place in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice. On–line condolences & sharing of memories may be forwarded to the family through our website www.campbellsfuneralhome.com or by visiting the funeral home Facebook page.
