Obituary for Sylvia Roy

(1961-2019)
MONCTON, NB – Sylvia Roy, 57, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on January 8, 2019. Born in Rexton she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Laudia (Richard) Arsenault.

Sylvia will be sadly missed by her husband Regis Roy; her daughter Angela Roy (Mathieu) of Dieppe; her sisters, Loretta LeBlanc (late Gerard) of Bouctouche, Rita Johnson of Rexton, Ida Babineau (Normand) of Richibucto Village and Annette Arsenault (late Gilberte) of Acadieville; her brothers, Roger Arsenault of Bouctouche and Alphonse Arsenault of Moncton; her grandchildren, Devan and Alyssa as well as several nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Yvon and Zoel and her sister Germaine.

Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:00am.

Donations may be made to Friend’s of the Moncton Hospital or to a charity of the donor’s choice and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
