Obituary for Jeffrey Carter

March 18, 1963 – February 17, 2019

With great sadness, we announce the death of Jeffrey Gordon Carter, aged 55, of Sackville, N.B. Jeff passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, with his loving wife by his side, on Sunday, February 17th, 2019. Born in Sackville, he was the son of Joan Carter Keirstead and the late Gordon Carter.

Jeff was a well–known carpenter in the community and his kindness and generosity to his friends and family will always be remembered. He worked hard his entire life and enjoyed his many trips down south with Darlene. Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Darlene (McPhee), Sackville; daughters, Crystal Snowdon (Jeff), Sackville and Emily Brennan (Ben), Rusagonis; son, Tyler (Hannah), Sackville; grandkids, Brianna, Sarah, Gordon, Evoleht, Blane and Jarrod; siblings, Jill Jones (Weston), Amherst and Nelson “Brud” (Caroline), Montreal; mother, Joan Carter Keirstead (Nelson), Sussex; aunt, Donna Paul, Fredericton, as well as by many nieces and nephews.

Jeff’s family extends their sincerest thanks to the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Dr. Cathy Johnston, Extra–Mural, Paramedics and to his wonderful friends for all of their support, kind words and visits. We are so grateful for your kindness.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364–8188. In keeping with Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. A small gathering will be held at a later date.

Those wishing to make a donation in Jeff’s memory may do so to Tantramar Extra–Mural or to a charity of your choice. On–line condolences & sharing of memories may be forwarded to the family through our website or by visiting the funeral home Facebook page. www.campbellsfuneralhome.com
