Obituary for Dennis Cox

1954 - 2019


Dennis Cox, 64, of Dieppe, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019.

Born in Shelburne, NS, he was the son of the late Henry and the late Gwendolyn Cox.

Dennis enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach and going on small trips. He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens.

He is survived by his spouse, Nadine LeBlanc (Memramcook); one daughter, Sonya Schnare; one son, Derek (Vicky); two step-sisters: Darcy and Peggy; three step-brothers: Ralph, Jimmy and Yan; his step-mother, Gloria, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by the mother of his son, Jeannie.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, Dieppe, on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at 11 am.

Interment in Saint-Thomas Parish Cemetery, Memramcook.

Donations to Handi Bus “Memramcook” or NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
