Robert "Bob" Bellefleur, 79, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22nd, 2019 at his residence. Born in Edmundston, he was the son of the late Jean-Baptiste "Jack" and Malvina (Côté) Bellefleur.

Bob was a dental technologist and founder of Dentech Dental Lab in Moncton.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Noëlla née Eagle; two children: Jean-Marc (Charlotte and her daughters Danielle and Isabelle) and Janice (Sandy) both of Moncton; five grandchildren: Julie, Jacques, Taylor, Selena, and Jordan; one sister, Joan Vickers of Montréal; one brother, John (Carol) of Toronto; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by an infant son, Jacques (1974), a brother, Lloyd (2002) and a daughter-in-law, Josette (2007).

In his life, Bob played many sports but hockey and golf were his passions. He believed in treating people the way he wanted to be treated and helping others in need were part of his traditional values.

His dignified commitment for his many years of volunteerism was rewarded with The Queen Jubilee Medal in 2002 along with a number of recognition awards. He was inducted into the Moncton Wall of Fame in 1987 and the New Brunswick Hall of Fame in 2004.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Thursday, February 28th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm; Friday, March 1st from 10am until time of departure 10:45am. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton, on March 1st at 11:00am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.

In memory of Bob, a contribution to Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Church, The Humanity Project or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Words of comfort and donations can be made at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
