Obituary for Kevin Jay

Kevin W. Jay, 65, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, he was the son of the late Albert Jay and Velma Little (Garland).

Kevin retired from Sysco Nasys. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, enjoyed watching harness racing, his annual family trips to the Gold Cup & Saucer harness racing, music, especially singing his own lyrics and hanging out at The Moncton Dart Club with his buddies.

Kevin will be sadly missed by his wife of 44 years, Darlene (Bulmer); daughter, Karen Jay and siblings, Gary Jay (Betty), Heather Jay, Harley Jay and Linda Bostwick (Don), as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Stuart and Harold.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Kevin’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 am. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.

In memory of Kevin, donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or the Dialysis Unit at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Online condolences for the family may be shared at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
