Obituary for Robert Steele

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert Leonard Steele, age 82, announces that he passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Moncton City Hospital. He was the son of the late John and Muriel (Kilpatrick) Steele and husband of the late Louise (Dunfield) Steele.

Bob is survived by his son Dr. Dale Steele (Dan) of Vancouver, BC; daughter Dawn Steele of Riverview, NB; brothers: Allan (Linda) Steele of Sackville, NB, David (Sandy) Steele of Peticodiac, NB and Ralph (Nancy) Steele of Sussex, NB; sister Susan (Fraser) Keirstead of Lantz, NS and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Besides his parents and wife Louise, Bob was predeceased by his brother Jackie Steele.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex from where visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 3 to 5pm. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Penobsquis Baptist Church on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2 pm.

Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of your choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
