Obituary for Peter Burden

Peter Raymond Karl Burden of Fredericton passed away peacefully surrounded by love on March 4, 2019 at Hospice House. Son of the late Paul and Iris (Southern) Burden, Peter was predeceased by a sister, Penny Morrisette.

He will be lovingly remembered by his special friend, Mexicana Briggs; siblings, Christopher (Barbara), Beverley DeLong, Michael (Margaret Ann), Nicholas (Ruby), Martha Burden, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Peter was a gentle man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved the outdoors and tinkering in the garage where he and his buddies enjoyed countless hours together. His friends were true to the end.

The family request that memorials made to Hopsice House Fredericton as their end of life care was superlative. We especially thank Pete’s numerous physicians and nurses for both their compassion and excellent care.

At Peter’s request, there will be no funeral. Arrangements are under the care of Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium. Donations may be made through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.
