Obituary for Joseph Lindsay

Joseph Amos Lindsay passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Born in McAdam, NB, son of the late Joseph W. and Audrey M. (Eales) Lindsay.

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his wife, Gayle Barbara (Claridge) Lindsay in October 2018, three brothers, Ally, Peter and Bobby Lindsay.

He is survived by one daughter, Joell Lindsay of Sommerville, NB, two sons, Bill Lindsay (Andrea) of St. Stephen, NB and Jon Lindsay (Tabitha) of St. Stephen, NB, three grandchildren, Alex, Gavin and Travis, one brother, Larry Lindsay of St. Stephen, NB, one sister, Barb Canavan (Richard) of Rusagonis, NB, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a graveside service for Joe and Gayle at the Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, NB on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11 AM.

For those who wish, remembrances to the Palliative Care Unit at the Charlotte County Hospital, Charlotte County Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca.
