Obituary for Margery Robinson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Margery's passing on April 6th, 2019 at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family at the QEII Health Sciences Center in Halifax, NS.

She was born in Fredericton, NB on November 29th, 1925 and spent most of her life living in the surrounding area with her last years being spent in Halifax. Mom was a life long member of the Daughters of the Nile Nereides Temple No. 78 and the Order of the Eastern Star Celestial Chapter No. 3. In her younger years she was an avid curler during the winter months and in summer she could either be found boating and fishing on the lake or at home by the BBQ. As a wife, mother, grandmother and friend she dedicated her life to us and we could not have been more fortunate.

She was predeceased by her parents Gordon Alexander and Lydia Ruth Boyd, her husband John Kelso Robinson, sister Nancy Dermenjian, brothers Alec and Edward Boyd and her daughter-in- law Valerie.

She is survived by her sister Catherine Goettling, sons Andrew, John (Brenda) and George and her daughters Linda (Luc) and Nancy (Harry); as well as ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her many friends at Parkland Clayton Park.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral but will be a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
