Obituary for Mary Gundlach

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mary Isabelle (Porter) Gundlach of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Roland Gundlach which occurred on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Murray River on March 29, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Rawlston and Claire (Buell) Porter.

She is survived by one daughter, Colleen (Laurie) St. Coeur of Saint John; one brother William Porter; one sister, Laura (Guy) LeBlanc; two granddaughters, Isabelle and Sadie May; one great-granddaughter, Tiffany; two great-great-granddaughters, Ashlyn and Alexis; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by four brothers, Bruce, John, Alfred and Lewis; two sisters, Sadie and Evelyn; brother-in-law, Joe; and friend of the family Mark Forrest.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.

Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be placed at www.brenansfh.com.
