Obituary for Fernande MacLean

The death of Fern MacLean of Dalhousie occurred Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 80. Born in Eel River, she was the daughter of the late James and Clementine (Fournier) Joncas.

Fernande is survived by her daughters Linda Hamilton (Sterling) of Campbellton and Diane Ostner (Konrad) of Brighton, Ontario; her grandchildren Craig, Kris, Sarah and Amy, her great-grandchildren Logan, Hailey and Maddie, her siblings Rollande, Roland, Aurele, Claudette, Henriette, Marguerite, Gisele and Fernand, her brother-in-law Reg MacLean, sisters-in-law Wendy Carter, Jeanette Joncas and Jocelyn Joncas, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald MacLean, as well as by her siblings Alphonse, Jeanette, Maurice, Raymond and Rheal.

A funeral for Fern will be held on Friday afternoon, April 26th, 2019 at the Église catholique Sainte-Trinité, Eel River Crossing, at 2 PM. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
