Obituary for Patricia Allison Fennell

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Allison Fennell announces her passing on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on October 15, 1947 in Wickham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Ruth (London) Reicker.

Allison was the widow of the late Francis Fennell. She is survived by daughter Patricia Durnnian (Chris), son Michael (Tina), light of her life grandson Matthew “Matty” Durnnian, sisters Betty Clark, Ruth Patton (George), Dorothy McDonald (Alvin), Diane Sayler (Ernie), Cathy Upshall (Richard) and brother Ceylon as well as many nieces and nephews.

Allison was predeceased by siblings Bliss, Don, Rowena, Holly and Audrey.

Mom lived her life with patience, grace and humour. Her selflessness was shown by her devotion to our Dad during his many years of illness. Mom loved spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Our family would like to express our deep appreciation to all staff on 4BS, particularly Shelley, Sherry, Dr. Anderson and Dr. Desmond with a special thanks to Darlene and Donna.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) In keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will be a private interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Canadian Cancer Society, Bobby’s Hospice or donor’s choice and online condolences can be placed at www.brenansfh.com
