Obituary for Wayne Connell

Surrounded by his family, Wayne Gerald Connell passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1944 in Summerside, PE, he was the son of the late Raymond and Hilda (Clements) Connell.

Wayne worked many years as a Shift Manager at the Irving Refinery. He enjoyed golfing; watching baseball and Nascar, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judith (Dobson) Connell; his children Bradley (Krista) Connell and Robyn (Michael) McEachern; brothers David (Darelynn) and Richard; sisters Jean Daigle and Janice (Frank) Carr; grandchildren Mychael, Bennett, Lauren, George and Evan; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Judy and brother-in-law Paul.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 3 to 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2 p.m.
