Obituary for Elizabeth Maillet

(1935-2019)
BOUCTOUCHE, NB – Elizabeth “Betty” Maillet, 84, of Bouctouche, NB passed away peacefully at the Manoir St. Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Charles Bartlett and late Mary (McCormick) Bartlett.

Betty loved to knit, crochet, play bingo and work on cross word puzzles in her spare time.

Betty will be sadly missed by her husband, Edgar Maillet of Bouctouche; one daughter, Christine Gardner (David) of Sudbury, ON and two sons, Sean Deighan of Vancouver and Paul Kiggins of PEI; as well as several nephews and a niece.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Joseph Bartlett.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18th beginning at 9:30 am until time of the service at 10:00 am at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB, E2J 2E7. Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
