Obituary for Ernest Sutton

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 26th, 2018 at the age of 82, Mr. Ernest “Ernie” Sutton of Dalhousie, husband of the late Margie (Harris) Sutton. Born on January 29th, 1936, Ernie was the son of the late Florella (Monzello) Sutton.

He is survived by his daughter Donna (John Douglas), Charlottetown PEI, step children Tricia Leavey, Dalhousie NB and Garth Leavey, Edmonton AB, granddaughter Maggee, Dalhousie NB as well as brother Lester (Jane) Dartmouth NS, sister Aldene Hoghe, Albany NY, brother in law Sherman Dewar, St George NB and many nieces and nephews.

Ernie was predeceased by sister Vera Dewar and brother Charlie.

A Celebration of Life for Ernie will be held at the Restigouche Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 25th at 4 pm, followed by a reception.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
