Obituary for Mildred Goguen

1932 ~ 2019
Cocagne, NB – Mildred Goguen, 86, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Born in Côte Sainte–Anne–de–Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Owen and the late Marie–Anne Newcomb (born Richard).

Mildred will be sadly missed by six sons, Guy Goguen (Germaine) of Dieppe, Eugène Goguen (Marcia) of Cocagne, Conrad Goguen of Cocagne, Sylvio Goguen (Sally) of Cocagne, Gérard Goguen (Elva) of Moncton and Michel Goguen of Cap–Pelé; by two daughters, Gisèle Goguen (Lloyd) of Shediac and Paulette Daigle (Claude) of Cocagne; by two sister-in-law, Victorine Allain of Cocagne and Anita Goguen of Cocagne; by six brothers, John Newcomb (late Bernice) of Rexton, Frank Newcomb (Odila) of Grande–Digue, Christin Richard (Albertine) of Richibucto Village, Paul Colette of Dieppe, Emery Colette of Cocagne, Régis Colette (Rose–Marie) of Renaud’s Mill; by two sisters, Lorraine MacAnnish (Dwayne) of Florida and Annette Rousselle (Florent) of Sorel Qc; by 14 grandchildren; by 10 great–grandchildren; and also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul; by one sister, Hélène; and by her infant daughter, Mariline. Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, from 2pm to 4pm and from 5pm until time of Funeral service at the Chapel at 7pm.
