Obituary for Alyre J. Arsenault

1937 – 2019
Alyre J. Arsenault, 82, of Dieppe, passed away on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Adamsville, NB, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Elizabeth (née: Gould) Arsenault.

Prior to retirement, Alyre was the owner of a Pizza Delight franchise and part–owner of Dooly’s in Oromocto. He was a former councillor with the City of Dieppe, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Dieppe and a dedicated member of Saint–Anselme parish.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lucille (née: Belliveau); one daughter, Janice (Florent) of Dieppe; two grandchildren: Mélanie and Patrick; four sisters: Rita of Dieppe, Marion of Moncton, Marguerite of Ottawa and Anita of Virginia, USA; one brother, Rufin of Montreal, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sisters: Jean and Carmella and also by one brother, Bernard.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857–1901) on Wednesday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm only. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated from Saint–Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Thursday, May, 23rd, 2019 at 11 am. Interment in Notre–Dame–du–Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
