Obituary for Horace Crossman

Horace Evans Crossman, 88, of Seely's Seniors Residence, Petitcodiac and formerly of Steeves Mountain, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Steeves Mountain, he was the son of the late Hazen and Bertha (Steeves) Crossman. Horace worked on the family farm for many years and also for Riley Steeves as a farm hand and he kept the farm machinery running. He enjoyed tractor shopping and trips to Wendy's.

Horace is survived by his sisters Frances Todd, Halifax, Jessie Steeves, The Glades and Catherine Steeves, Riverview and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Lawrence and Percy and sister Evelyn Eagles. Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372–4800) visiting will be Wednesday, May 22 from 1 pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 2 pm with Pastor Jim Eagles officiating. Following the service will be a reception and interment at Steeves Mountain Cemetery.
