Obituary for Charles Walsh

Mass of Christian Burial for Charles Walsh, whose death occurred peacefully at his home, was
celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on May 14, 2019 with Father Antonio Reyes officiating. Charles is survived by his wife Pat (Daley), daughter Erica (Kyle) Craig, sons Jonathan (Andrea) and Justin (Jill), his 7 ‘bundles of joy’, Liam, Conor, Lara, Alexa, Olivia,
Owen and Ava, and, sister Ann (Paul). Charles is predeceased by his parents and sister Patricia (Delbert). Music was by the St. Mary’s Folk Choir with Carmel MacTavish accompanying on guitar. Readers were nieces Shannon Johnston and Krista Birch and, daughter-in-law
Andrea. Son Justin gave the eulogy. Active pallbearers were Kyle Craig, Garth Hogan, Stan Knowles, David Smith, Reggie Grattan and, Brian Donovan. Honorary pallbearers were Nancy and Gordon Russell, Nancy Smith, Jean Knowles, Gerald Casey, Ben Mullin, Evlyn
Mathieu, Daryl and Margie Cassidy, Donnie and Irene Parks, Leo and Frances Doyle, Pearl Parsons and Danny McDonnell, Michael and Janice Morrison, Delbert Matchett, Gerald and Nancy Smith, Bobby and Joan Hachey and Michel and Shirley LaFrance. Burial followed
in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care of Northumberland Funeral Home.
