Obituary for Bryan Whitfield

The passing of Bryan Michael Whitfield occurred on May 13, 2019 at his home in Fredericton, NB. Born on December 24, 1946 in Paisley, Scotland, he was the son of the late Harold and Catherine (MacMillan) Whitfield. He was a long–time basketball referee and had a love for travel.

Bryan is survived by his nephews Christopher and Eric (Yang–i) Whitfield and grandnephews, Sean and Logan Whitfield.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Whitfield, and by his brother, Trevor (Viola) (Burlock) Whitfield.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, June 21 from 11:00 to 1:00 at McAdams Funeral Home, 160 York St, Fredericton, NB followed by a private family interment at the Foresthill Cemetery.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be made at www.mcadamsfh.com.
