Obituary for David McMinniman

It is with sad hearts that the family of David (Dave) Michael McMinniman announce his passing at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 16, 2019. Born on September 9th 1945, he was the son of the late Donald and Kathleen (Tapley) McMinniman.

Dave will be missed by his wife of 42 years, Sue (Cleghorn), sons David (Marie) and Doug, grandchildren Samantha and Amy and his special brother–in–law Bill (Angela).

In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his siblings Joan, Mary, George, Brian and Peter.At Dave’s request, the family is asking for no flowers.

In lieu, donations may be made to the Oromocto SPCA, the Salvation Army or the IWK.

The family would also invite the public to dress in “comfortable attire” when attending the services. There will be a visitation at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St Oromocto, on Friday, May 24 at 2:00 followed by a Memorial Service celebrated by Pastor Normand McDonald at 3:00 in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel.
