Obituary for Ardith Rosborough

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ardith M. (Hanson) Rosborough of Greenhill Lake, NB, wife of the late Winston (Wink) E. Rosborough, which occurred on May 20, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.

Ardith was born on September 4, 1940 at Hainesville, NB, the daughter of the late Ashley and Doris (Brewer) Hanson. Ardith was employed for several years as a bus driver for Trius. She enjoyed working with her hands and did so for as long as she was able. She loved seeing all the beautiful flowers in the spring. The Christmas season was special to her, with all the twinkling lights, the music and the beauty of it all.

She is survived by her son, Troy Firth of Greenhill Lake, NB and his special friend, Doreen (Dee) of Fredericton, NB; granddaughters, Dionne Firth (Ross), Moncton, NB and Lindsey Firth, McAdam, NB; a brother, Darrell Hanson (Marjorie), Hainesville, NB; an aunt, Phyllis Morehouse and an uncle Leo Brewer; several nieces, nephews and cousins; she will be sadly missed by all of us.

The family wishes to thank special caregivers, Sharon Gilbert and Valerie Brewer for all you have done.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Steven, Garnet and Dale Hanson.

Honoring Ardith’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Ardith, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements by Flewelling Funeral Home, Nackawic, NB. www.flewellingswan.com
