Obituary for Kenneth Walter Moore

Kenneth Moore of Hoyt passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019 at White Rapids Manor. Born on August 28, 1924 to Walter and May (Algar) Moore.

Husband to the late Betty Moore (d. 2011). Together they raised their 5 children on the family farm. Kenny was a very hard working farmer and woodsman raising livestock and crops. He had a great love for horses and competed in many local horsehauls, a passion he shared with his family and his buddy Charles Oram. He also loved music and would often play a few hymns on his accordion on Sundays. He remained on the farm until his 88th year when he became a resident of White Rapids Manor where he was cared for and treated so well by the nurses and staff.

Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Archie, Harold and Donald, his sisters, Elsie, Evelyn and Thelma.

He will be missed by his children, Ed (Margaret) of Fredericton, Walter (Bev) of Tracy, Valerie (David) of Tracy, Dan (Michelle) of Hoyt, Randy (Tina) of B.C., 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Following Kenny’s wishes, the family will have a private funeral service. Arrangements are in the professional and personal care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368–2413). sunburyfuneralhome.com
