Obituary for Barbara Morrison

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Anne–Marie (McCaskill) Morrison on May 16, 2019 at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on July 31, 1938 to the late James and Cecile (Berrigan) McCaskill and was the loving wife of 55 years to husband Jim Morrison.

In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by her son Dr. Jeffrey Morrison (Dr. Diane Liscumb) and their children; Ian, Maggie and Owen, and son James Andrew Morrison (Celeste Coles) and children; Nathanial and Isaac, brothers; Raymond (Cathie), and Kevin, sisters; Claudette McCaskill and Millie Mitchell, sister–in–law Ellen McCaskill and chosen sister Kathy Vautour, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers; Daniel and Ralph McCaskill.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646–2424). In keeping with Barb’s wishes, no visitation will be held. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11am from Stella Maris Catholic Church with a time of fellowship to follow in the Church Hall. Interment will take place at a later date.

For those who wish, her family would like donations to be made to Bobby’s Hospice. For full obituary details, to express condolences or light a candle in memory of Barb, please visit at www.fundyfuneralhome.com
