Obituary for Anna Babineau

1933 – 2019
Anna Babineau, 85, wife of the late Raoul Babineau (2007), of Acadieville, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne. Born on July 27, 1933 in Saint-Charles, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Madeleine (Daigle) Richard.

She is survived by five daughters: Odette Maillet (Rhéal) of Acadieville, Berthe Blanchard (Clarence) of Kouchibouguac, Rosalie LeBlanc (Alphée) of Acadieville, Claire Légère (Gilles) of Moncton and Marielle LeBlanc (Claude) of Acadieville; five sons: Jean-Guy (Rina Robichaud) of Saint John, Gabriel (Gisèle Poirier) of Dieppe, Ronald (Lucie Richard) of Rogersville, Alyre of Moncton and Denis of Aldouane; 19 grand-children and 22 great-grandchildren; one sister, Maria Bordage (Albert) of Aldouane; one brother, Alfred Richard (Léa) of Aldouane; her sisters-in-law: Yvonne Babineau of Acadieville, Mona Chevarie of Richibucto, Louise Babineau and Yvette Babineau, both of Acadieville and Marie-Paule Sénéchal of Chicoutimi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband; one grandson Jacques; one great-granddaughter Maude and one brother Joseph (Maria).

The family will receive condolences in the slumber room of the Immaculée-Conception Roman Catholic Church, 4049 route 480 of Acadieville. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 1st at 11h00. Visiting hours: Friday, May 31st from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 9 pm as well as Saturday, June 1st from 9 am until the departure for the funeral. The interment will be at the parish cemetery.

In memory of Anna, a contribution to the Acadieville cemetery or to the palliative care of the Stella-Maris-de-Kent would be greatly appreciated.
