Obituary for Leonard McCormick

Leonard Douglas McCormick, 76, of Colpitts Settlement, passed away at his home, on Monday, May 27, 2019. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Charles and Elvina (Rogers) McCormick.

A farmhand for 48 years at Waddy Colpitts Farm, he was a former legion member who enjoyed darts, hunting, fishing and especially loved tormenting his family.

Leonard is survived and sadly missed by his common-law wife, Kathy; daughters, Laura (Stewart) Reid, Tracey (Randy) Perry, Tina (Jamie) Wilson; daughter-in-law, Charlotte McCormick; mother of his children, Audrey McCormick; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Aubrey, Reid, Brenda, Jean; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Leonard was predeceased by his sons, Derrick and Dave.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Leonard's Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #31, 3317 Route 106, Salisbury, NB on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 7 pm.

If desired, memorials to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Lung Association or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
