Obituary for Robert McFarlane

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert "Bob" McFarlane, age 53, of Hampton, announce his passing on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was a son of Irene (Frawley) McFarlane and the late Paul McFarlane.

Bob had a passion for Mustangs, technology and music. He was a gentle soul and although he was a man of few words, he was a friend to all he met. His love for his family was unconditional and he was especially proud of his two nieces.

Bob will be deeply missed by his mom; Irene, sister; Andrea (Wayne) Hansen, nieces; Alisha Bainbridge (Rob) and Jennifer Bainbridge (Cedric), brother; Christopher (Terry), and several aunts and uncles.

Besides his father; Paul, he was predeceased by grandparents; James and Mary-Vina Frawley and Alden and Marjorie McFarlane.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4th 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 22 Church St, Hampton. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Church Cemetery.

Memorials in memory of Bob can be made to Diabetes Canada or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and memorial donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
