Obituary for Gabrielle Lanteigne

1934-2019
Monday, June 10th, 2019 at the age of 84, passed away at her residence Mrs. Gabrielle "Gaby" Lanteigne of Atholville, wife of Mr. Wilfred Lanteigne. She was the daughter of the late Marie Luce (born Bérubé) and the late Wilfrid Blaquière.

Besides her husband, Wilfred, she will be sadly missed by her children: Josée (Luc Ducharme) of Montreal, Yves of Atholville, Sylvie (Jean-Louis Frenette) of Bathurst and Renée (Michel Morin) of Deux-Montagnes, Quebec; her grandchildren: Chloé, Jacob, Gabrielle, Sophie, Simon and Marc-Olivier; her sisters and brothers: Adrienne (Charles Dubé) of Chicoutimi, Paul of Dieppe, Annette (Ian Connel) of Valleyfield, Claire (Ken Meaker) of Lethbridge, Alberta, Lynn (Camille Dubé) of Grand Falls and Emma of Montreal also by many members of the Lanteigne family, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers and sisters: Laurent, Victor, André, Bertha and Fernande.

The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at 11 am in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church, Campbellton. Mrs.Gabrielle "Gaby" Lanteigne will rest at Savoie Funeral Home, situated at 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton on Friday from 2 till 4 pm and from 7 till 9 pm also on Saturday morning from 9:30 till time of funeral.

A donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. You may sign Mrs.Gabrielle "Gaby" Lanteigne’s guest book or send a condolence message to the family by visiting the website www.salonsavoie.ca.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton (753-7200).

Mme Gabrielle "Gaby" Lanteigne d’Atholville, épouse de M. Wilfred Lanteigne. Elle était la fille de feu Marie Luce (née Bérubé) et de feu Wilfrid Blaquière.

Outre son époux, Wilfred, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Josée (Luc Ducharme) de Montréal, Yves d’Atholville, Sylvie (Jean-Louis Frenette) de Bathurst et Renée (Michel Morin) de Deux-Montagnes, Québec; ses petits-enfants : Chloé, Jacob, Gabrielle, Sophie, Simon et Marc-Olivier; ses sœurs et frères : Adrienne (Charles Dubé) de Chicoutimi, Paul de Dieppe, Annette (Ian Connel) de Montréal, Claire (Ken Meaker) de Lethbridge, Alberta, Lynn (Camille Dubé) de Grand-Sault et Emma de Montréal ainsi que plusieurs membres de la famille Lanteigne, nièces, neveux et amis.

Elle repose désormais auprès de ses parents, ses frères et sœurs : Laurent, Victor, André, Bertha et Fernande.

Les funérailles ont eu lieu le 15 juin 2019 en l’église Notre-Dame-des-Neiges de Campbellton et célébrées par le père Morrison.
