Obituary for Ralph Smith

1953-2019
Ralph Edward Smith of Riverview passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Dr. George L. Dumont University Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Marie Lirette Smith.

Ralph was employed with Monarch Construction for over 38 years. He was a true outdoorsman, in his early years he enjoyed camping with his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing and biking.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Gail (Thompson) of Riverview; daughter, Vanessa of Riverview; sister, Barbara Smith of Moncton; brother, Wallace Smith (Noella) of Moncton; sisters-in-law, Carol Wright (Richard), Ann Belliveau (Peter), Joan MacDonald, Deborah Phillips (Glen) and Norine Thompson; brothers-in-law, Wade, Barry, Steve and Lee; several nieces and nephews; and his loving four legged companion, Jericho.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Phyllis Smyth and Carole Groves; brothers, Wayne and Allen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007). The family will be receiving relatives and friends at their residence, 32 Glenview Court, Riverview, on Saturday June 15, 2019 from 1 to 5PM.
