Obituary for Doris Bourque

BOURQUE, DORIS
1930 - 2019
Doris Bourque, 88, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 4, 1930 in La Montain, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Cécile (Richard) Dupuis.

She is survived by six children: Dorina Picard (Yvan) of Cocagne, Charline Landry (Valmont) of Cap-Pelé, Diane Arsenault (Alfred) of Abrams Village, PEI, Jean (Lynda) of Dieppe, Lisette Babineau (Paul) of Meadow Brook, and Ginette Couturier (Christian) of Dieppe; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Linda Bourque; two sisters: Jeannita Bourque (Paul) of Moncton and Claudette Robichaud (Emile) of La Montain; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gérard (2012); one son, Henri (1995); five sisters: Thérèse, Annette, Rita, Marie, and Hélène; nine brothers: Paul-Émile, Roger, Yvon, Gérald, Henry, Laurie, Antoine, Edouard, and Alyre.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of funeral (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 858 Mountain Road, Moncton, on Monday, June 17 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Saint-Thomas cemetery, Memramcook.

In memory of Doris, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (palliative care) or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Words of comfort and donations can be made at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
