Obituary for Corinne Pineau

The death of Corinne Mary (LeBlanc) Pineau of Mount saint Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Chatham Head, NB, wife of Vince Pineau, occurred at her residence on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the age of 58. Born in Newcastle, NB, Corinne is the daughter of Eva LeBlanc and the late Andre LeBlanc.

Corinne was a homemaker and was employed with Region 7 Hospital in the food services for 14 years. Corinne also was a member of the Life Leadership.

Corinne is also survived by two sons: Jeremy (Mellisa) of Elgin, NB and Andre of Miramichi, NB; three sisters: Rejeanne Doiron (Ralph) of Quispamsis, NB, Murielle Caissie of Rogersville, NB, Andrea Fraser (Grayling) of Moncton, NB; five brothers: Francis (Rachelle) of Memramcook, NB, Jean (Ginette) of Waltham MA; Gilles (Mariette) and Daniel (Raymonde) and Michel (Noella) all of Rogersville, NB with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13 from 7 to 9 PM and Friday, June 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1 PM with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Music for the mass was provided by Jacqueline Allain. Readers were Linda Blackmore and Line Gaudet LeBlanc. Words of remembrance were given by Jeremy Pineau. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Nelson Miramichi, NB.

In Corinne’s memory a donation may be made to the Living Family Memorial to be distributed to families with Alzheimer’s and Dementia within our community by Vince. Messages of condolences can be made online at www.bellsmeadows.com.
