Obituary for Alma Dickinson

The passing of Alma Isabel (Cropley) Dickinson, wife of the late Walter Murray Dickinson, occurred on June 13, 2019 at Shannex Thomas Hall, Fredericton. Born on February 4, 1922 in McAdam, NB, she was the daughter of the late Richard Wesley Cropley and Mae (Hall) Cropley.

Alma is survived by several nieces and nephews; by one special niece, Patricia Beauchamp of Minnesota, USA and by Robert Thomas, husband of special niece, the late Dorothy (Dot) McAleer Thomas of Fredericton, NB.

In addition to her parents, Alma was predeceased by her husband Walter Murray Dickinson; brothers Richard "Dick", Wilfred "Bud" and Wayne Cropley; and sisters Bernice and her husband Gordon McAleer; Elizabeth and her husband Joseph Neale; and Hester Cropley; and by her special niece, Dorothy "Dot" McAleer Thomas of Fredericton, NB.

There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at the Lower Fosterville Cemetery, York County, at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Lower Fosterville Cemetery fund.
