Obituary for Thérèse Maillet

1948 – 2019
Thérèse Maillet, 71, of Shediac, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC Hospital. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Elzéar and Lorraine (Lirette) Collette.

Thérèse worked 23 years at the Villa Providence as an LPN.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Octave; her sons, David (Monique) of Dieppe and Mike (Renée) of Shediac; her siblings, Marie-Mai Collette (Joe) of St. Cloud, FL., Monique Collette (late Eric Young) of Shediac, Bernice Nandan (Vince) of De Winton, AB, Roland (Dorice) of Grand-Barachois and Jeannette Collette (late Albert) of Grand-Barachois; her grandchildren, Dawson and Hayley also her step-granddaughter, Carlie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Thérèse was predeceased by her infant sister, Jeannette.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 2019 from 9:00am till the time of the funeral. A celebration of Thérèse’s life will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre Chapel at 11:00am.

Donations to the Diabetes Association or to the CHU Dumont (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
