Obituary for Leslie James "Jim" Teed

Leslie James “Jim” Teed, 75, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Leslie and Margaret (Reardon) Teed.Jim was a retired Sales Representative, attended St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed his many summers at the cottage and driving through the countryside.

Jim will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Bernice (Leger); son, Michael (Diana Gagné) of Sherbrooke, QC; and twin grandchildren, Avery and Charlotte; extended family; long time family friends, the Dolan’s; as well as all other close friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Teed.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team of the Dialysis Unit at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre for the care and kindness shown to Jim during the past seven years. A special thank you to Dr. Thibeault and Rena for helping the family through this difficult time.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, 43 Botsford St., on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in the Church Hall following Mass. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

In memory of Jim, donations to the Dialysis Unit at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
