Obituary for John Edward “Mickey” Flinn

On Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, John Edward “Mickey” Flinn of Marysville passed away at the age of 90. Born in Marysville, he was a son of the late John and Mildred (LaPointe) Flinn.

He spent over 25 years employed as a salesman for Chippin Bros. in Fredericton. Mickey loved to hunt and fish, and was a real outdoorsman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Anne; four children John (Barb) Flinn of Taymouth, Scott (Rebecca) Flinn of Marysville, Kim Mahar of Fredericton and Maureen Flinn of Marysville; ten grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; a sister Rosilla St. Pierre of Moncton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife Pearl (Estabrooks) Flinn; a daughter Joyce Marie Hazelwood; a son Larry David Flinn; a sister Laura Kidney.

His wish was to have no formal service or visitation. A private family interment will be held. Bishop’s Funeral Home, have been entrusted with the arrangements and online condolences and the sharing of memories may be expressed through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

A special thank you to the nurses and doctors of 4SW at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
