Obituary for Dorothy M. Babcock

1926 – 2019
It is with great sadness the family of Dorothy Babcock (Amos) age 93 of Riverview announce her passing after a lengthy illness at her special care residence Serenacare on July 10, 2019. Born in Sackville NB, February 27, 1926 Dorothy was the youngest daughter of Adam and Mabel (Goodwin) Amos.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Arlie Babcock also from Sackville and six siblings.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by her four children, sons Dale (Kathy) Babcock, Kendall Babcock, her daughters Tanya (Mike) Doiron, Darla (Graeme) Clynick. Grandchildren Scott and Vanessa Doiron, Amy Clynick, step grandchildren Philip Doiron, Jason and Eric Urquhart and several nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank the Moncton Hospital Staff for the wonderful care during her numerous stays, her favorite Dr. Oluwasayo Olatunde for her special care throughout the years, Dr. Jocelyn M Cormier, Susan Dixon and her wonderful compassionate staff at Serenacare.

In respect of Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation will be in the care of Fairhaven Funeral Home and a family celebration of life to be held at a later date. A book of condolences may be signed at www.fairhavenmemorial.ca.

May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
