Obituary for Jean Dimock

Jean Dimock, 83, of The Briarlea and formerly of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 12, 2019. Born in New Mills, she was the daughter of the late James and Martha “Velma” (Sealy) Cooper.

Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Riverview.

Jean will be sadly missed by her daughter, Joan Dimock (Wayne Mabey); sons, Ronald (Joan) and Frank (Wendy); grandchildren, Olivia, Eric, Andrew and Morgan; brother, David Cooper; aunt, Willa Sealy; sisters–in–law, Flo Cooper and Hilda Graves; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Ada and Clyde Richardson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Horace Dimock (1990) and brothers and sister, Jack Cooper, Glen Cooper and Opal (Judy) McKiel.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Jean’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Charles Cook officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock.

In memory of Jean, donations to Harvest House or Havelock Greenhill & Loyalist Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at: www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
