Obituary for Thérèse Maillet

1924 – 2019
Thérèse Maillet, 95, of Foyer Saint–Antoine and formerly of Saint–Norbert, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Foyer on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. She was married to the late Yvon Maillet (2005). Born in Richiboucto–Village, she was the daughter of the late Richard and the late Edna (Allain) Maillet.

She will be sadly missed by her seven children; Paulette Little (Vincent) of Rexton, Andréa Allain (Jean–Paul), Edna Allain (Guy), Denise Cormier (David Daigle), Ola (Aurelda), Jean–Guy (Jacqueline) and Réjean all of Saint–Antoine, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn three sisters; Doris Gallant, Nélida Butland (Dick) of Dieppe, Marie–Reine Maillet of Moncton, one brother; Léandre (Jocelyne) of Brossard, QC, as well as several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by one son Omer and one brother Clovis.

Visitations will be held at the Saint–Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint–Antoine on Friday, July 19, from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint–Antoine Church on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11 am with interment in the Saint–Norbert–de–Kent Cemetery.

In Thérèse’s memory, donations may be made to the Foyer Saint–Antoine.
