Obituary for Elta Seeley

Elta Seeley of Mississauga, ON, wife of the late Byron A. Seeley, passed away peacefully at the Credit Valley Hospital on July 18, 2019. Born at Hartland, NB on June 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Flora (Belyea) McLennan.

She is survived by her daughter Jane Goguen (Brian) of Burlington, ON; grandson James Goguen (Judith), great granddaughter Madeleine Goguen and great grandson Gabriel Goguen of Waterdown, ON; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Mabel Seeley and Doris Burchill, brother Donald McLellan and step–mother Alice McLennan.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506–634–1701. In keeping with Elta’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 1:00PM to 2:30PM at Castle Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 2:30PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery after the service with reception at Castle “Fallsview” Reception Centre to follow.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Elta’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
