Obituary for Gloria Crawford

Gloria Crawford, 87, of Golden Years Estates and formerly of Riverview, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.Born in Sunny Brae, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Katherine (Steeves) Steeves.

Gloria was a member of Whitepine United Baptist Church, Riverview and was a member of the Senior Citizens Group and The Wednesday Prayer Meeting Group.

Gloria will be sadly missed by her daughter, Sharon Salmon (Daniel) of Moncton; grandchildren, Shelly Brideau (Ron) and Todd Mellish; great grandchildren, Cody Brideau, Dylan Brideau, Kattie Brideau, Joey Mellish, Brody Mellish and Bobby–Joe Mellish; great great grandchildren, Jacob Dilnot–Brideau and Elian McDermott–Brideau, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Crawford (1992); son, David Crawford; brothers and sisters, Gladys Oxley, Harry Steeves, Cecil Steeves, Mildred Weldon, Dorothy Hanlon, Sheila Almon, Llewelyn Steeves and Reginald Steeves.

A public graveside service will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:30 pm.

Arrangements entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995).
