Obituary for Lottie May O’Donnell

Lottie May O’Donnell passed away peacefully at York Care Centre with her family by her side on the eve of her 97th Birthday, formally of New Bandon. Born in Hayesville NB, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Margaret Harrison Lovelace Munn. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church. She also was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by one daughter Marjorie Dunphy (Douglas) of Nashwaaksis, four sons, Leonard O’Donnell (Joyce) of Florida, Samuel Allen O’Donnell of New Bandon, Harold O’Donnell Iva) of Fredericton and Elwood O’Donnell (Rowena) of Doaktown, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son Wayne, sisters, Nancy Munn, Christy Munn, Irene Clowater, Lucy Hinchey and Anna Spencer, brothers, Nelson Lovelace, Earl Lovelace, Peter Lovelace, Arthur Lovelace and Charles Lovelace, and one special granddaughter Pam.

Lottie May O’Donnell is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, with visitation on Saturday from 12:00 pm noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, with Erdie Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesleyan Cemetery, South Road.

In memory of Lottie, donations to York Foundation or a memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
