With heavy hearts, the family of Paul Baxter announces his passing, after a short battle with cancer, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, July 24, 2019. Paul was born in Saint John, NB on May 11, 1955 ; and was the loving husband of Christine, the devoted father of Chelsea (Randy) and son of the late Murray & Edith Baxter.

Along with his wife Christine and daughter Chelsea, Paul is survived by his precious grand–daughter Addison and, sisters Sandra Hart, Nancy (Bill) Coleman, and Coleen (John) Sproul.

Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his step–mother Myrtle, Sister–in–law Charlotte and great nephew Baby Mason. Also mourning his loss is his mother–in–law Shirley Lester, sister–in–law and husband Kelly & Larry Sherwood along with their children, Keith (Kendra), Christopher (Erica) and Robert Jeffrey (Brooklyn), brother–in–law Donnie Lester and children Wendy (Ian), Scott and Kalina, as well as great nieces Shelby, Emma, Leah and Sadie and great nephews Evan and Brantley.

Paul was a motorcycle enthusiast and was passionate about his crew of family and friends, hanging out at the garage, which most know as Hogs Breath. Paul loved spending time riding and also enjoyed being a host rider, inviting many first time riders as passengers on his Harley.

Paul loved being surrounded by family & friends and greatly enjoyed our weekly Sunday gatherings at the garage. Paul also enjoyed many years of camping at Town & Country Campark and most recently at Three Bears Campark, both of which he volunteered his skills, experience and love for helping with the general operation of the parks. Besides several years of employment with the City of Saint John, Paul spent time after his retirement, helping at his buddy's pawn shop and operating heavy equipment in the winter months for local car dealerships.

Visitation will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646–2424) on Friday, July 26th between the hours of 2 to 8 PM. A Celebration of Paul's life will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 2 PM from the Fundy Chapel. Following the reception, we invite the biking community to join Paul on his last ride en route to his garage (Hogs Breath), Loch Lomond Road, with a procession leaving the Fundy Funeral Home at 4:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations towards the S.P.C.A would be appreciated.
